Read the new MH book yesterday

It was a typical MH book, for the most part. The name dropping/pop culture references/product placement didn’t seem as bad this time around.

Lala’s backstory activated like, all of my feels. Seriously touching.

Melody was an asshole. I’ve never been a huge fan, but I just can’t with her in this book.

Loved Ghoulia’s amusement at T’eau Dally High.

ETA: Oh yeah- not enough Kween Candace, and Billy/Spectra annoyed me. Lala and Vlad were the best, though.

here’s my Lagoona! Took quite a while to do this ^_^ my second time styling her hair. I should prolly separate the curls but I think it looks amazing with chunky curls like this!

This is the best I’ve seen a basic Lagoona’s hair look.

Once upon a time, there came a day, a day unlike any other… when Earth’s mightiest heroes found themselves united against a common threat… to fight the foes no single superhero could withstand… on that day, The Avengers were born.

Ahahah, Tony is totally Kuzco.

Because instantly alienating a huge chunk of your demographic through offensive humour is the best way to sell soda pop. (x)

Tru fax: these commercials are the reason I no longer drink any sort of Dr Pepper. There are too many other beverages out there for me to drink where I’m not wanted. Also? My six year old son has enough sense to say, “That commercial is silly, Mommy.  Why don’t they want women to drink it?”

cryptaknight reblogged your post: Reblog if you’ve actually read every single page of all seven Harry Potter books; from The Boy Who lived to Nineteen Years Later.

Hasn’t everyone? Lol.

I’ve known a few people that have never read a single syllable of these books, but have watched the movies.  They call themselves Harry Potter fans, but I beg to differ.

Yeah, I agree with you. The movies are wonderful, but the world of Harry Potter is so much richer than even the movies convey. You’d miss out on so much if you only watched the movies and never read the books.
